QuikFynd offers the QuikFynd service (the “Service”) through our website (the "Website") and through applications hosted on your devices. For example when you search for certain keywords, we will show you search results with details about your devices and files. We may also share or disclose your information with your consent, for example if you refer QuikFynd to your friends, your name and email address are shared with your friends.

  • Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

    We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information: 

  • You can control what devices, file types and/or folders are indexed by QuikFynd by using Settings menu provided as part of Service.
  • Accessing and Correcting Your Account Information

    You can review and change your account settings and information by logging into QuikFynd Service and visiting your Settings page. You can also review the devices and types of files indexed by QuikFynd Service and make changes from the settings page. If you no longer desire our service, you may update or delete it by making changes on your settings page. In some cases we may retain copies of your information if required by law.

    Children Under the Age of 13

    QuikFynd Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information to this Service through any of its features, or register for the Service, or make any purchases through the Service. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.     File and Index Information.

    We do not store or maintain your files on your devices (“Files”), but you can use the QuikFynd Service to transfer your Files from one device to another. We create an index (the “Index”) from the Files on your devices to enable search capability of the Files. Your index also stays on your device andIndex may contain certain keywords from your Files that may contain your personal information. 

    If you use our service to transfer your Files, all transfers are encrypted using 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, the standard for secure Internet network connections.  

    Data Security

    We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers behind firewalls. QuikFynd uses Amazon Web Services for storage. Amazon stores data over several large-scale data centers. According to Amazon, they use military grade perimeter control berms, video surveillance, and professional security staff to keep their data centers physically secure. All communication involving your Personal Information between desktop or mobile clients and our servers uses 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, the standard for secure Internet network connections.We also encrypt any payment transactions, such as credit card information, using 256 bit SSL technology and your clear text passwords are not stored on QuikFynd servers. Your passwords are encrypted and only a secure hash of your password is used by QuikFynd.

    The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to our Service, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. 

    Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Service.
